We have regular tree walks where they have found some very spectacular scarce trees like Mountain HardPear Olinia emarginata ,WildApricot Dovyalis zeyheri , Wild Seringa Burkea africana (‘Pierneef trees’), very old River Bushwillows Combretum erythrophyllum , Peeling Plane Ochna pulchra , Cape chestnut Calodendrum capense , and many others which will receive new name plates. Moreletakloof is well-known for its very beautiful mushrooms and fungi in the rainy season of which we have more than 400 specified varieties. It is unbelievable what you find when you really take the time and look for them. The same goes for orchids and the most special veld flowers, birds, insects and spiders. For people with different abilities we offer the chance to come down into the reserve where we have lovely areas with a restroom and a deck as well as a lovely bird hide. Pathways-Pretoria and the rehab centers of hospitals also come out with patients and students for long visits, so that they can enjoy

Moreletakloof Nature Reserve is a very special reserve of justover90hectares inthePretoriasuburbofMoreletapark, and the source of our water is from a fountain that keeps the Rademeyer Spruit constantly flowing throughout the year. We have some very impressive trees, a big variety of veld flowers and mushrooms/ fungi, animals, birds and a big wetland area.
