Sideroxylon at Platbos with epiphytic mosses green from misty weather.
Today the forest in the geographic region of the CFR represents a once much more extensive forested area that for me has largely been replaced by Renosterveld, and in part by Strandveld, and in some places the battle between forest and adjacent heathland types still rages, with fire being a heathland driver and forest inhibitor. I would happily enter any further discussions with anyone on any of the topics I have penned. Just email me at my address opposite.
