WESSA is one of South Africa’s oldest membership-based, non-governmental organisations and for 90 years has played a key role in the conservation of our country. We work towards ensuring sustainability for present and future generations through: environmental action, education programmes, and skills development to empower individuals and communities to make sound, sustainable choices. The fee per annum is R 550.00. This includes: WESSA membership; the use of the WESSA Friends Group or Affiliate Member Logo; quarterly editions of African Wildlife & Environment and EnviroKids magazines; e-communications. Contribution optional Membership fee includes: Membership subscription; WESSA business member logo according to level of membership; Certificate of Ac knowledgement; Acknowledgement of support on the WESSA website and in the WESSA Annual Review; Quarterly issues of magazines: African Wildlife & Environment and EnviroKids (one of each); E-communications: Newsletters and activity newsflashes. Platinum to Bronze Levels: Contribution as indicated above. This contribution determines the level of membership and provides invaluable support for WESSA’s many environmental projects. If preferred, this can be processed as a donation with a Section 18A Tax Certificate. Small Business Level: Contribution optional. In support of WESSA’s work, any donation amount will be much appreciated and can be added to the membership fee. A Section 18A Tax Certificate will be issued on request. WESSA is an accredited facilitator of Socio Economic Development and more than 89% of the direct beneficiaries of WESSA’s projects are Black South African citizens as defined by current B-BBEE legislation.
