UNLOCKING YOUTH POTENTIAL Eco-Hub is a well designed framework and structure to guide the youth through a journey grounded in experiential and project-based learning in such a way that it supports the development of new neural pathways that will enable young people to envision and act on a better future for themselves. It is an engaging process that creates a self-directed support structure for, and by, youth, that can be sustained indefinitely. Eco-Hub will:
Eco-Hub is particularly focused on youth who have left school prior to matriculation. While it won’t exclude high school and tertiary graduates, its aim is to draw young people who abandoned their academic career back into a career path . Increase youth capacity to participate in the South African economy through experiential learning Facilitate the development of soft skills that support entrepreneurial action Develop a youth-led socio-economic hub

Eco-Hub is a three year programme consisting of an incremental development process that culminates in the establishment of enterprises. Participants undergo a process of preparation for entrepreneurship through: DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

IMPLEMENTATION AND BENEFITS Eco-Hub supports South African youth to carve out a sustainable future for themselves and become active, engaged and flourishing participants in the national economy. This three-year programme enables young people to explore their inherent talents and gifts, and then find and build on opportunities in which to apply their skills in financially viable endeavours.
